Last year Simon Thommes joined the team at Blender Studio, and besides working on Coffee Run, he has been busy creating a brand new training on procedural shading.

The training is designed to offer an introduction to the world of procedural shading, featuring a clear-and-to-the-point theoretical overview, tied to practical examples.

Training overview

Just like Stylized Character Workflow, this is a live training. This means that the content will be published over time. Enjoy the first couple of chapters today and come back for weekly updates during the next 3 weeks!

This course is absolutely fantastic. It makes me feel a bit like I will never be as good. But I know hat it takes practice and gives you a whole new way to observe the world and see things in new dimensions to try imitate their properties in Blender. Hats off!
